Scientific Programme

This will be an interactive workshop, showcasing at least 20 surgeries, which will be live streamed from 2 theatres per day from Steve Biko Academic Hospital and Midstream MediClinic and Urology Hospital,  Pretoria, to the Protea Hotel Fire & Ice, Menlyn.

Focus of the surgeries will be

  • Urethral strictures Balloon dilatation
  • Fistula surgery
  • Bulbar strictures
  • Penile strictures
  • Post traumatic PFUD
  • Urethral diverticulum
  • Hypospadia repair/Meatal stenosis/Fistula repair
  • Penile prosthetics :  Both malleable and inflatable  
  • Male and or female slings
  • Male AUS (Sphincter)


Case selection will depend on cases available.
